ParishLedger (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the public marketing website for the ParishLedger platform. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how we use it.

This policy applies only to the public-facing marketing website. Data processed inside the ParishLedger application platform is governed separately under our SaaS subscription agreement and Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

The Data We Collect

a. Contact Form (currently active)

When you fill out the “Contact Us” form, we collect:

  • Full Name
  • Work Email
  • Parish or Diocese
  • Role
  • Your Message

This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

b. Booking a Demo (future feature)

If you choose to book via Calendly in the future, we may receive:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Preferred meeting times
  • Any additional details you provide

We will update this section if/when the feature is activated.

c. Newsletter Signup (future feature)

If you subscribe to a future newsletter, we will collect:

  • Email address
  • Optional name

You may unsubscribe at any time.

d. Analytics (not yet active, but planned)

We may use privacy-focused analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Plausible.

These tools help us understand how people use the site and improve usability. Until analytics are activated, no tracking cookies are currently used.

At present, the marketing site uses only essential cookies required for security and basic functionality.

When analytics are activated, we will update this policy and display a cookie banner giving you the choice to accept or reject non-essential cookies.

The marketing website is hosted in the EU region via Vercel, ensuring data is stored within GDPR-compliant locations.

If we use third-party tools (e.g., analytics or email service providers), data may be transferred outside the UK/EU with appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contact form submissions: up to 24 months
  • Demo booking details: up to 24 months (when active)
  • Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe
  • Analytics data: anonymised or retained according to provider policies

We do not keep information longer than necessary.
